Rexall Showcase International Announces Expanded International Management Team

BOCA RATON, Fla., Oct. 13 /PRNewswire/ -- Based on the growth of its global business, Rexall Showcase International (RSI), the direct sales division of Rexall Sundown, Inc. (Nasdaq: RXSD), today announced that it has expanded its management team with the addition of a new international vice president. Richard M. Cochran has joined the company as Vice President International Operations, responsible for the management of RSI's existing international businesses, including all marketing, product development, communications, sales, promotions, and customer service functions. Peter Kiepe, RSI's Vice President, International, will continue to be responsible for the development of new international operations.

In making the announcement, David J. Schofield, RSI President and Chief Operating Officer, stated, "In line with the increased emphasis on our international business, we are excited to have Richard join our team. For the past three years, Cochran served as an independent marketing consultant for multinational companies in the health and nutrition, cosmetics, beauty care and apparel industries. Previously, he spent twenty years at Avon Products Inc., where he served in a variety of positions including Global Director, New Business Development; Vice President of Marketing for Avon Japan; and Global Director, Direct Marketing. During his tenure with Avon, Cochran spent more than seven years in Japan and was a key contributor to the development of Avon's operations in that country and throughout Asia. Cochran is originally from Scotland where he studied law at Glasgow University.
